Home Repair Projects for local homeowners not able physically or financially to have the work done otherwise.

Meals-On-Wheels hot meals delivered daily to area shut-ins

Transitional Housing support for homeless families while they work through a structured program to "get back on their feet"

Surplus Thrift Store a wide range of items at a reasonable price and open to the general public

Pregnancy Care Resource Program mentoring & pregnancy testing for women

Holiday Assistance food and gifts for families

S.H.A.R.E. food cooperative buying program

Emergency Services short term financial assistance and tangible resources such as clothing, food, and furniture

Lake Wales Community Garden Club gardening skills program

Care Center houses other community service organizations: Adult Literacy Council, Drug Awareness, Salvation Army

After School Clubs tutoring and personal development programs

Youth Employment and Leadership development programs

Bridges A co-effort with the Welfare to Work Program to Bridge the gap between welfare and work. This program connects woman receiving assistance, with successful women within the community. Through mentoring and building friendships, a foundation for support can be built to help teach life skills and job training needed to cross the "Bridge" from welfare into secure and self-supporting employment.

Lake Wales Care Center is located on East Park Avenue, at the southeast corner of the Marketplace. It is within easy walking distance of any point in the National Historic District.
